Immunity Drip

IV Nutrition for Immune Resilience and Everyday Energy

At LIVO, the Immunity Drip is a targeted intravenous infusion built around Vitamin C, zinc, magnesium, and a full B-complex — nutrients that work together to support immune cell function and the energy metabolism the immune system depends on. It's offered as part of a proactive approach to immune health, not as a treatment for illness.

What's in the Drip

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is central to immune support — it's essential for neutrophil function, natural killer cell activity, and antibody production, the front-line mechanisms of immune defense. Oral Vitamin C is absorbed inefficiently by the gut, especially at higher doses; IV delivery achieves plasma concentrations that oral supplementation alone typically cannot reach.

Zinc

Zinc supports the development and function of nearly every immune cell type, including T-cells, B-cells, natural killer cells, and macrophages. Even mild zinc insufficiency can meaningfully affect immune response, and zinc also plays a role in wound healing and cellular repair.

Magnesium

A cofactor in hundreds of enzymatic reactions, magnesium supports energy metabolism, nervous system function, muscle recovery, and immune cell activation. Magnesium insufficiency is common and has been linked to low-grade inflammation and reduced immune response. IV delivery supports more reliable tissue levels than oral supplementation alone.

B-Complex

A full spectrum of B vitamins — B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, and B12 — delivered together. B vitamins support cellular energy production, DNA synthesis, and nervous system health. They are water-soluble and depleted relatively quickly by stress, alcohol, and inconsistent diet. Because immune function is energetically demanding, adequate B-vitamin levels are part of what allows it to operate at full capacity.

Why IV Rather Than Oral Supplements

This is the question most clients ask, and the honest answer comes down to bioavailability. When you swallow a Vitamin C tablet, your gut absorbs only a portion of it, and absorption drops further at higher doses. The amount that actually reaches your cells depends on your digestive health, what else you've eaten, and your individual absorption capacity.

IV delivery bypasses this limitation. Nutrients go directly into the bloodstream at the full dose, reaching plasma concentrations that are difficult or impossible to achieve orally. For Vitamin C specifically, IV delivery can reach plasma levels many times higher than an equivalent oral dose.

This isn't a claim that IV nutrition treats or cures anything — it's a matter of pharmacokinetics: some nutrients, at certain doses, can only reach meaningfully higher plasma concentrations when delivered intravenously.

Energetic, well, relaxed expression

Immunity and Everyday Resilience

Immune health doesn't exist in isolation — it's closely tied to how the body manages ongoing, low-grade physiological stress. Persistent oxidative stress and inadequate antioxidant or micronutrient reserves are among the factors researchers associate with reduced immune resilience over time.

The nutrients in the Immunity Drip are chosen to address several of these factors together:

  • Vitamin C helps reduce oxidative stress and replenish antioxidant capacity
  • Zinc and magnesium support immune regulation
  • B vitamins support the energy metabolism that immune function relies on

Regular IV nutritional support isn't a substitute for a healthy lifestyle — but for clients who are already exercising, eating well, and managing stress, it can help address nutritional gaps that diet and oral supplementation often leave unfilled.

Who May Consider This Drip

  • Clients who want proactive immune support as part of an overall wellness routine
  • Clients who feel run-down, get sick frequently, or feel slow to recover from illness or exertion
  • Clients under high physical or psychological stress, which can deplete Vitamin C, zinc, and B vitamins more quickly
  • Clients who travel frequently and want extra support around trips
  • Clients recovering from illness or surgery
  • Clients whose recent bloodwork has indicated suboptimal antioxidant, zinc, or B-vitamin status

Whether this drip is a good fit depends on your individual health history and goals, which is why every Immunity Drip begins with a consultation.

What to Expect After Your Drip

Most clients feel well enough to resume normal activities right after their session, and many notice improved energy or a sense of wellbeing during or shortly after the infusion. Mild bruising or tenderness at the IV site is common and typically resolves within a few days.

Recommended

  • Keep the IV site clean and dry for the rest of the day
  • Drink plenty of water to support how your body processes the infusion
  • Follow any specific guidance your practitioner gives you based on your session

Please Note

  • Avoid strenuous exercise for the remainder of the day
  • If bruising, swelling, or discomfort at the IV site feels more than mild, contact LIVO

Thoughtful Care Starts with a Consultation

The Immunity Drip is only offered after a face-to-face consultation with a LIVO practitioner. This isn't a formality — it's how we confirm the drip is a good fit for you and identify anything in your health history that needs to be considered first. IV therapy is not appropriate for everyone: certain conditions, including G6PD deficiency and some kidney conditions, along with specific medications, are contraindications that your practitioner will screen for.

Consultation with a LIVO practitioner

Your consultation will cover:

  • Your goals for immune support and overall wellbeing
  • Your health history, current medications, and any known allergies or sensitivities
  • Realistic expectations based on your individual health and goals
  • Whether a single session or ongoing monthly sessions make sense for you

No Immunity Drip is added to a treatment plan without this conversation. We want you to feel informed and confident before you decide.

Your Treatment Process

Your practitioner will walk you through the full process at your consultation — what to expect during the session, how long it takes, and what aftercare looks like for you specifically. A brief health check is completed before your first session to confirm suitability.

Sessions typically take approximately 45–60 minutes, and you're seated comfortably throughout. All infusions are administered by a qualified LIVO practitioner in a supervised setting.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the session take?

Approximately 45–60 minutes. You are seated comfortably throughout.

Is the Immunity Drip safe?

Yes. All LIVO IV infusions are administered by a qualified practitioner in a supervised setting, and a brief health assessment is conducted before your first session to confirm suitability. IV therapy is contraindicated for certain conditions — including G6PD deficiency, certain kidney conditions, and specific medications — which is why this screening matters.

Will I feel the effects immediately?

Many clients notice improved energy and a sense of wellbeing during or shortly after the session. Immune support benefits build with regular sessions over time.

How often should I get the drip?

For maintenance and ongoing support, monthly sessions are a common starting point for most clients. During periods of high stress, illness recovery, or increased demand on the immune system, more frequent sessions may be worth discussing with your practitioner.

Can I combine this with other LIVO drips or treatments?

Yes. The Immunity Drip can be combined with other LIVO infusions, or preceded by a booster shot for additional targeted support. Talk to your practitioner about combining treatments.

Do I need a consultation before starting?

Yes. Every Immunity Drip begins with a consultation to confirm it's a good fit for your health history and goals.
