01Hair Restoration
Fuller-looking hair begins with understanding the scalp, the follicle and the pattern of change

Hair Restoration
Fuller-looking hair begins with understanding the scalp, the follicle and the pattern of change
Hair can feel thinner because more strands are shedding, individual hairs are becoming finer, density is changing in a recognizable pattern, or the scalp environment is under strain. A thoughtful plan begins by identifying which pattern is present and supporting the follicles that remain.
- A wider part or more visible scalp
- A gradually receding hairline or thinning crown
- More hair in the shower, brush or on clothing
- Finer strands and less fullness when styling
- Dryness, oiliness or buildup across the scalp
Why hair density changes
Each follicle moves through a cycle of growth, transition, rest and shedding. Genetics, hormones, age, stress, nutrition, recent illness, childbirth, medications and styling practices can influence that cycle. Pattern thinning usually develops gradually, while a temporary shedding phase may become noticeable several weeks or months after a trigger.
Different patterns call for different support
Density, shedding, strand diameter and scalp condition describe different parts of hair health. One person may benefit most from consistent follicle support; another may need to improve scalp comfort and product buildup before beginning a longer-term plan. Early attention gives us a clearer baseline and more existing follicles to support.
How LIVO approaches hair restoration
We begin with the timeline and pattern of change, family history, styling practices, current products and the condition of the scalp. Standardized photographs can help track the part, hairline and crown over time. The plan is then shaped around scalp health, home care and the most relevant LIVO options.
- HydraFacial Keravive® — a three-step scalp treatment designed to cleanse, exfoliate, hydrate and support a healthier-looking scalp environment.
- Exosome hair and scalp care — may be incorporated into a carefully selected, product-specific plan to support the scalp and overall hair-quality strategy.
- A coordinated home plan — gentle cleansing, appropriate wash frequency and consistent use of evidence-based topical care
A thoughtful plan over time
Hair changes slowly, so consistency and photography are more useful than judging the mirror from week to week. LIVO may begin by improving scalp condition, then build a maintenance rhythm around the pattern of thinning, daily routine and response.
Daily hair and scalp care
Wash often enough to keep the scalp comfortable and free from persistent oil or buildup; frequency can be adapted to hair type and activity level.
Apply shampoo to the scalp rather than vigorously rubbing the lengths, and use conditioner through the mid-lengths and ends.
Limit tight hairstyles, repeated high heat and aggressive brushing. Handle wet hair gently and detangle from the ends upward.
Prioritize adequate protein and a varied diet. Supplements are most useful when they address a genuine need rather than being added automatically.
When topical minoxidil belongs in the plan, regular application matters. Choose a formulation and routine you can use consistently.
When should I begin a hair-restoration plan?
Earlier attention usually provides a clearer baseline and more opportunity to support existing follicles.
How soon will I see a change?
Hair cycles move gradually. Photography and review over several months give a more meaningful picture than short-term day-to-day changes.
Can scalp care and home care be combined?
Yes. A clean, comfortable scalp and a consistent home routine can work alongside an in-clinic plan.
How often is maintenance needed?
It depends on the pattern of thinning, the selected services and how your scalp and hair respond.
Begin with a clearer view of your hair and scalp
A LIVO consultation is a chance to understand the pattern you are seeing, establish a useful baseline and build a plan that feels realistic to maintain.
